Anolon Cookware Reviews: Why Buy Anolon And Which Set Is Better for You
We all love to cook with brand new cookware, especially now that the holidays are fast approaching. I have come across several moments where I’m inclined to get new items and don’t know how to choose. Or perhaps, as it often happens, you may want to let someone know about the perfect holiday gift: new cookware.
Some of the best recipes and dishes come from the best cookware out there. Anolon cookware is definitely one of the first brands that comes to mind. But if you’re like me, you ask yourself, what set is adequate for me? What Anolon cookware reviews should I look for?
Let’s start by deciphering why you should go for Anolon and then dig into some of the best options and best Anolon cookware reviews.
So, Why Anolon?
Anolon cookware is made from hard anodized aluminum, as well as a layer of stainless steel, bronze or copper. This added layer allows more conductivity and creates even cooking. The layer is absolutely non-stick and resistant to rust.
Why Choose These Materials?
Aside from being really functional, Anolon is really safe too. The hard anodized aluminum core of these products is very light, easy to clean and overall just great with heat.
While choosing anodized aluminum is always relatively good, there are some foods that may cause a reaction to it, such as those that are very acidic. The reaction isn’t unsafe, it will just taste a little different.
Rest assure that Anolon cookware is not toxic. Unlike Teflon, which allegedly contains harmful chemicals, this cookware, especially the pots and pans, have been tested to be 100 percent safe and healthy.
Is Anolon Cookware Oven Safe?
Yes, it is. But as with other type of cookware, be aware of the temperature inside your oven. The pots and pans are usually safe up to 450°F, but the handles and lids are only safe up to 400°F. So, overall just try to keep the temperature at 400°F.
Is Anolon Cookware Truly Dishwasher Safe?
Most of these Anolon products will let you know if they are or not. If the product says it is, then go ahead and use the dishwasher, but make sure you rinse the cookware before placing it in. If, on the other hand, the pots and pans aren’t dishwasher safe, don’t try it anyway, avoid damage and save time.
Let’s Talk Warranty!
Luckily for you, Anolon comes with a lifetime guarantee every time you buy a set of cookware. This guarantee varies depending on where you are and so does the coverage. Before you purchase an Anolon cooking set you may want to check what the guarantee will cover for you.
In all countries, the Anolon cookware lifetime guarantee covers mostly craftsmanship damage such as material or construction issues.
This guarantee doesn’t cover stains, scratches, change of color, and damage because of overheating. If you are using this cookware commercially, the guarantee won’t cover any damages.
As with most guarantees, when you submit a claim, you must send the pots or pans to California and wait for replacement at Anolon’s discretion.
Tip: the Anolon “lifetime” guarantee is actually only in place for 30 days in Australia.
Caring for your Cookware
Unlike common thought, your nonstick cookware shouldn’t be taken care of with steel wool or harsh abrasives. What should you do instead? Here are some tips:
- First, wash your cookware thoroughly with a mild dish detergent, warm water, and scrub pad or sponge, after each use.
- If after this step you still find stubborn stains in your pots or pans, then you must add something different to the cleaning cocktail. In the pan you are trying to clean, boil 3 parts water and one part vinegar on medium heat. Do this for 10 minutes and then let it sit until it gets cooler, then wash it again as you did on the first step.

Time to Pick: Best Anolon Cookware Reviews[table id=11 responsive=scroll /]
#1. Anolon Advanced Bronze Hard Anodized Nonstick 11-Piece Cookware Set
This 11-piece cookware is completely nonstick and comes with comfortable handles coated with a combination of stainless steel and silicone. All the pieces in the set are oven safe up to 400°F.
The Advanced Bronze comes with hard anodized aluminum core, which allows for even heating when cooking, also providing better durability.
And with 11 pieces, versatility is a given. The set brings 2 covered saucepans, 2 open skillets, 1 covered saute pan, and 1 shallow grill.
With an old school bronze color, this set brings a touch of elegance to your kitchen. It doesn’t matter if you’re not a professional chef, with these pots and pans, dinner may turn out easier and more fun to make.
As with anything non Teflon, this set is delicate, so you may want to watch for sharp objects or metal as they can scratch the surface easily. Also, these Anolon items aren’t dishwasher safe and aren’t meant to be used with an induction stove top.
No matter what your plans are for cooking with this set, the 11 piece cookware is perfect for any type of cooking. You may want to invest in this as it is fairly priced and lasts for a good while.

#2. Anolon Advanced Hard Anodized Nonstick 11-Piece Cookware Set
This set also has 11 pieces, all coated with Autograph nonstick coating on top of the hard anodized aluminum on core. You will find 1 covered saute pan, 2 covered saucepans, 1 covered stockpot, 1 open skillet and 1 covered deep skillet.
The handles on this set are SureGrip, which means they are made with stainless steel and rubber. The lids are also very comfortable and their domed shape prevents breakage.
As with the Bronze set, this one is not dishwasher safe either, and it should always be cleaned by hand. It is also oven safe up to 400°F; it is important never to go above this temperature as the material can get damaged and food may burn.
Anolon cookware is usually fragile, and thus you should be careful with your utensils and the amount of heat exposure. The lifetime guarantee isn’t easy to fulfill and you shouldn’t assume that it will take care of your set after overuse.
One of the advantages of this set is the depth of the pans, making it easier for you to cook various types of foods. And the color it has, allows for long lasting style without signs of as many scratches and use.

#3. Anolon Nouvelle Copper Hard Anodized Nonstick 11-Piece Cookware Set
The Anolon Nouvelle Copper set comes with an Autograph DuPont 2 nonstick coat that is safe to use with metal utensils. The hollow-core handles in this set are stainless steel as well as the glass lids.
This set includes 2 covered saucepans, 1 covered stockpot, 1 open skillet, 1 covered skillet and 1 covered saute pan. The versatility with these is in the depth of the cookware as well as the ability to use many more utensils.
With copper, you will get an elegant chef-like cooking experience as well as more even heat since copper is a better conductor.
As with the other styles, the Nouvelle line is delicate, and you shouldn’t drop it or wash it in the dishwasher.
These pots and pans may seem heavier than the Advanced line, but they are still manageable. The handles don’t have the comfortable grip as the Advanced ones, and they may also get a little hotter too. Still, they are elegant and you may like them more.
When you buy this set you’re investing more money, but it may worth it if you enjoy cooking big meals and like to feel like you’re getting the best experience out of your set.
Not SureGrip handles
Not dishwasher safe
#4. Anolon Advanced Bronze Nonstick 9-Piece Cookware Set with 2-Piece Bakeware Bonus
The 9-piece set comes with 2 covered saucepans, 1 covered stockpot, 1 skillet, 1 covered saute pan, and 2 additional cookie pans. This Advanced set is also lined with Autograph 2 nonstick cover, which is supposed to be scratch protectant.
For these cooking items you will also get the comfortable SureGrip handles, which are oven safe up to 400°F. Same goes for the cookie pans, which are lined with nonstick cover as well and come with SureGrip handles for better baking.
Though they are easy to clean, these should never go in the dishwasher either and should be cleaned by hand. Keep in mind that despite these being relative scratch resistant, they shouldn’t be used with only metal utensils as they are still quite delicate.
This smaller set also lacks the large pans that come in the 11-piece set, and so cooking a big meal may prove to be harder for you. The pans may also be too small or too deep to cook certain foods.
Not dishwasher safe
#5. Anolon Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 12-Piece Cookware Set
The Anolon Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel set is different from the rest, as it comes with a triple construction layer that consists of an aluminum core sandwiched in between layers of stainless steel for better heat distribution.
When you buy this set you will receive 2 saucepans, 1 sauce pot, 1 sautepan, 1 stock pot and 2 open skillets. Unlike the other Anolon sets, these are safe for all sorts of stovetops, including induction.
Also, unlike the other set, this one is oven safe up to 500°F and is also dishwasher safe. The handles on this set dual riveted for strength and are also up to 500°F safe; however, they aren’t as comfortable as the SureGrip handles, but you may find it okay since these aren’t as heavy either.
You may consider using this set if you want something more convenient and that requires less care. If you have an old Anolon set, you can try mixing the pieces, as this set is versatile and works well with other models.
Induction oven safe
Resistant to higher temperature, up to 500°F

Choosing the Best Anolon Cookware Option for You
I personally like all Anolon cookware sets, I find them versatile and long-lasting. Yet, I still have a preference for a set in particular, and that is the Anolon Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 12-Piece Cookware Set.
This Tri-Ply set is overall just more resistant and more convenient, it can be used with induction ovens and can be put in the dishwasher. These two facts also make it more resistant to other factors such as the utensils you use. Also, you can put in the oven for higher temperatures.
Though it may be more expensive, I believe this one will last a long time and it’s worth your time and money. You will certainly not regret having bought this as all your meals can be cooked with this cookware and you won’t have a large mess to clean up.
